Set up the backup
We connect your external hard drive and set up an encrypted cloud on request. Then we configure the automatic backup so it runs regularly by itself.
Start the first backup
We start the first full backup and check that all important data is included. With large photo collections this can take a while, but it runs in the background.
Practice the restore
Before we leave, we restore a sample file from the backup together. This way you know exactly how it works if the worst happens. On request we write down the most important steps.

What the Data Backup Costs at Your Place
We bill transparently and without hidden costs. You learn the price before the appointment, so there are no surprises. Setting up a data backup is, in most cases, done within the home-visit flat rate. Precisely because a backup rarely feels urgent until it is suddenly needed, we deliberately keep the cost manageable and the scope clear from the start. Home-visit flat rate 79 €
The home visit costs 79 € for up to 60 minutes on site. In that time a data backup can be set up and tested together in most households.
Each further hour 69 €
If we need longer, for example with very large amounts of data, we charge 69 € for each further hour. You keep the overview at all times.
Travel within 10 km included
Travel in the Nordstemmen and Leine valley area is included within 10 km. Beyond that we charge only 0.50 € per kilometer, clear and easy to follow.
All prices incl. VAT
As a private customer you always pay the final price including VAT. There are no hidden costs, and you know the price already before the appointment.
Another advantage: as a household-related service, up to 20 percent of the pure labour costs are tax-deductible if you pay the invoice by bank transfer (Section 35a of the German Income Tax Act). We show the labour share separately on the invoice so you can claim it in your tax return. This applies to the home visit as well as to each further hour on site.
