A NAS is essentially a small network hard drive that stays permanently connected to your router and is available to all devices on the home network. Unlike an external hard drive that you always have to plug in first, the NAS is available at any time: your laptop, your phone and your children's tablet all access it simultaneously. What we do for you
We connect the NAS to your router and commission it together with you. We set up user accounts, create shared and private folders and take care of the automatic backup of your phone photos and computer data to the network storage. On request we also set up remote access so you can reach your files from outside, such as holiday photos from a laptop at work or important documents from your smartphone. If your Wi-Fi is too weak for a stable connection, our Wi-Fi optimization helps, and we are happy to handle that in the same appointment.

How a NAS Differs From a Simple External Hard Drive
An external hard drive must be plugged in first and is then only directly visible to one computer. A NAS, on the other hand, is always available on the home network and accessible to all devices at the same time, around the clock and without any action from you. That makes the difference in everyday life: your children's phone photos land automatically on the shared storage and you do not have to ask who currently has the cable. A good complement to the NAS is an additional external backup following the proven 3-2-1 rule (BSI): three copies of your data, on two different media, one of them off-site. What the NAS Setup Costs at Your Place
We bill transparently and without hidden costs. You know all prices before the appointment so there are no surprises. Basic NAS setup can be completed in most households within the home-visit flat rate; for more extensive requirements, such as setting up many user accounts, a complex folder structure and remote access, a little more time may be needed, which we discuss with you in advance. Home-visit flat rate 79 €
The home visit costs 79 € for up to 60 minutes on site. In this time we complete the basic NAS setup and automatic backup in most households.
Each further half hour 39 €
If we need longer, for example for extensive folder structures, RAID setup and remote access, we charge 39 € for each further 30 minutes started.
Travel within 10 km included
Travel in the Nordstemmen and Leine valley area is included within 10 km. Beyond that we charge only 0.50 € per kilometer, clearly and transparently.
All prices incl. VAT
As a private customer you always pay the final price including VAT. There are no hidden costs, and you know the price already before the appointment.
