What does it cost to have my robot mower set up?

We bill the setup via our home-visit flat rate of 79 € for up to 60 minutes. Each further started half hour costs 39 €. Travel within 10 km of Nordstemmen is included, beyond that 0.50 € per kilometer. All prices are listed clearly under prices.

Does this work with any brand?

We work with common robot mowers from various manufacturers. The exact operation differs depending on the device, but the approach to boundary, schedule and app is similar. Simply tell us in advance which model you have, and we prepare for it.

Can I operate the robot mower myself afterwards?

Yes, that is important to us. Before we leave, we practice starting, pausing and sending home via app and device with you. On request we write down the most important steps so you can look them up later. Especially for seniors we explain everything calmly, more under technology for seniors.

Does the robot mower need Wi-Fi in the garden?

A connection is helpful for app control, depending on the device via Wi-Fi or mobile network. If your Wi-Fi does not reach into the garden, we are glad to optimize it at the same time. More under Wi-Fi optimization.

Do you also handle the winter break?

Yes. At the end of the season we clean the device, check the blades, charge the battery correctly and store the robot mower frost-free. In spring we put it back into operation. On request we arrange this as a fixed appointment per season via the contact form.

What We Do for You During Robot Mower Setup

We take care of the entire commissioning, from the boundary to the finished schedule in the app. We make sure the robot mower reliably finds its way back to the charging station, does not drive over beds or paths and runs exactly when it suits you. The brand you bought does not matter, we work with common devices from various manufacturers.

Lay the boundary

We lay the boundary wire along your lawn edges, around beds, pond and terrace. For wire-free devices we set up the boundary via app and satellite.

Place the charging station

The charging station goes to a protected, level spot with good access. We make sure the entry and exit are clear so the robot mower docks safely.

Set up the schedule

We define fixed mowing times with you that suit your garden and your daily life, for example in the morning and not during your neighbors' quiet hours.

Connect the app

We connect the robot mower via Wi-Fi or mobile network to the manufacturer app on your phone and set up the login so you can see it from anywhere.

Check safety

PIN lock, lift and tilt sensor as well as the rain sensor are checked and explained, so the robot mower works safely and is protected against theft.

The home visit costs 79 € for up to 60 minutes on site. For many smaller gardens that is already enough for the complete setup including explanation.

Each further half hour 39 €

If the setup takes longer, for example with large areas or many narrow spots, we charge 39 € for each further started 30 minutes. We estimate the effort realistically beforehand.

Travel within 10 km included

Travel within 10 km of Nordstemmen is included. Beyond that we charge only 0.50 € per kilometer, transparent and comprehensible.
