Roaming
In short and in plain language
Roaming means your phone uses the network of another provider.
This mostly happens abroad.
The European Union has its own rules for this. In other countries it can get expensive.
So check your plan before you travel.
Definition
Roaming means that a phone uses the network of another mobile provider, usually abroad. Special rules apply within the European Union. Outside it, costs can be high, so it is worth checking the plan before a trip.
